Annual McMinnville Breakfast Rotary Gala
The McMinnville
Breakfast Rotary Gala is an annual evening event, which is one of
the major fundraisers
that is fun for everyone. Tickets are
sold by Rotary members at $100 per couple and is held in the spring.
This event provides the funding for our Romanian Foster home project
and contributions to community
organizations. The event is held at
the McMinnville Country Club with beautiful decorations provided by
the Breakfast Rotary members and exquisite variety of food (See
picture below).
Also provided is live music for listening and dancing (see picture
below) and a silent auction with a wide
variety of articles that
range from weekends at a resort to camping equipment.
Annual Golf Tournament
Held in cooperation with the McMinnville Rotary Club (Noon Club),
this event raises funds for college scholarships.
Friday Night Live Drink Sales
The Club sells soft drinks and
popcorn at McMinnville's summer outdoor concert series. Main Street
Live provides free concerts on Friday nights and has live
entertainment with a wide variety of music from
Blue Grass to Gospel
to Celtic. everyone brings a chair and sits on the lawn for a night
of entertainment
with food and drink items sold. Breakfast
Rotary sells an assortment of cold drinks and popcorn for $1.00
each.
Many of the local charities that Breakfast Rotary supports benefit
from this effort.
