Breakfast and Noon Work Together To Install Windows and Doors
Habitat for Humanity of Warren County is currently building its 25thhouse since becoming an affiliate in 1996. The first twwo houses werededicated in 1999 with funds donated by the Carrier Corporation and CityBank and Trust Co. (now Regions Bank). Since then we have built one ortwo houses a year with the support of donations and volunteer hours froma number of businesses, churches and individuals. Major contributionshave been made by the Carrier Corporation, Bridgestone, Jarden, FirstNational Bank, Nissan and Regions Bank.McMinnville Breakfast Rotary and McMinnville Rotary Clubs havecontributed funds to pay for the windows and exterior doors for everyhouse that has been built and have done the volunteer work to installmost of them. Since these cost $1000 to $1200 per house, this has been atremendous help.Numerous other groups and individuals have also contributed financiallyto make these homes become reality. Over the years churches have beenthe backbone of our volunteer workers along with civic clubs, studentsfrom Warren County High school and many dedicated individuals.
